Generic oiled cotton cone filter on the end, looks good, picked up a mpg or two, makes a cool faint whistly noise at WOT. What's not to love?
Patrick, it's good to see another skeptic/cheap bastard on the board ;)

guilty as charged. My only regret about the purchase is that I'm quite certain it wasn't American Made. Quality weld for the sensor though and the over all part seemed to be made well and fit great.
Just that the box looked very generic and I looked all over for who or what made it. Nothing but a pretty picture of the part on the box and a Part#. Same deal with a headlight set for my Fox recently. Generic box. I'd have paid $10, $15, maybe even $20 more to have it made here but not $150 more.
I can't say that it gave me any more than maybe 1 mpg at the most. The tuner may help that also but time will tell. I get between 23 and 24 now but I drive 16 miles of twisty two lane with hills. About 30 miles of 4 lane and I blend in traffic or drive ahead of the pack usually then about 5 or 6 of city streets plus lunch time traffic, each day. So I didn't see paying that much for it as it would take so long to get the investment covered.
I'm still not believing how much of a difference the Diablo made on such a mild car. The shifting performance alone saves in the old school valve body kits and not having to turn wrenches.
