Zex Nitrious+ ? =12 second 4.0

I have a stock 4.0 as of right now but my goal is to have it run 12's or atleast low 13's. Turbos are to expensive for me and I dont want to put that much stress on the engine. So I believe im going to put my pony on the juice, particularly the Zex setup from powerhouse. I have looked around and it seems to be the safest and one of the least expensive setups out for the 4.0. My main consern is the safety of myself and my car. I do not want to blow my engine, trany, etc and I only plan on using the 75 and 100 shot. I know several members of the site have tried this at one time or another and so if you could give me some advice.
1. Do I need to swap out my rear end for an 8.8?
2. What other mods are do you recommend to run the setup safely, T-lok, DS, etc?
3. What are realistic expectations for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times?
4. Is this safe for my car?

I havn't seen any 12sec Nitrous 6ers.

I suspect the sort of shot you'll need to run to break 12s will be considerably more stressful to the engine than any turbo setup out there...

But I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I would suggest the racer's kit from Zex and also the Zex window switch. Get a good dyno tune and don't go over a 100 shot. Have fun.

Jimmy the GT 8.8 comes with a Tlock in it which is why that was no recommended to you FYI.

you will go with that at least low 13's with 103 mph on the 1/4 mile

13.5 is a mid 13

if u want a 12, ur gonna have to run a 125 shot unless u go with some serious weight reduction

of course it is...but with 103 you can have low 13's without problems

103 what?

if you trap 103 mph how does that mean you will get low 13s? You're logic is wrong unless i'm missing something here.

I think he meant 103 octane and more timing in the tune?
