My Dryrub Recipe - 05-02-2012

For those of you that crashed at my house (and if anyone is DC bound let me know), you know that I am a grilling nut. I grill every weekend in the spring, summer and a ton in the fall. I grilled in the rain a couple weeks back.

Anyway, I customized a dry rub recipe I don't remember where I got it and have been using it since. Use it on ribs, pork chops, chicken, etc.

2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons cumin powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

For those of you interested.

Bet that would work. Keep in mind in the pic, I actually did a dry rub\jack Daniels combo. That is why they are "wet".

yeah i figured you mixed a wet ingredient in but this would make a great dry rub on salmon i'm sure and grill it!

thanks for sharing it though...i've taken all my recipes and scanned them, and them loaded them onto my ipad so when i cook i have the ipad right there beside me instead of the paper getting all messed up.

Instead of a dry rub Todd you might want to try some lotion.... oops just saw where this thread was.

Probably has something to do with that new job out there on the rig like that - I'm sure Ron can give him some suggestions from the Navy days!

Now with twin turbo 3.5LV6.
Screw you photobucket! I'm not going to pay you to now use my own pictures
