It has become all too common these days for people to overlook what is probably one of the most important components of a modified vehicle of any kind.
There are plenty of patches and fixes available to extend the range of your fuel system. Ultimately the best, safest way to do this is to put a properly sized fuel injector in to meet your needs.
The quality of the fuel injector also makes drastic differences in drive-ability and fuel delivery. You can have the worlds most 'conservative calibration' but if your injectors can't keep up at high RPM's this can cause dangerous lean conditions. Especially with the new 5.0L engines revving so high!
This is the reason why we offer only the highest quality fuel injectors available on the market today at an unbelievable value with our VMP TVS Packages.
In this graph you can see our 2011 5.0l automatic with a TVS starting to run out of fuel, at only 7000rpm. The car was running an airbox and 75mm pulley so only 11-12psi of boost. At 7000rpm the A/F was drifting lean, the computer was struggling to add fuel in through the short terms. This car already had a fuel pump booster.
We later upgraded the injectors which gave us enough fuel and allowed us to rev the car to 7500rpm safely, this got the car consistently into the 9.80s. This was all done on a stock motor, safely.
