That's awesome!! I wish I could be this far along in my '85 as you are in your '86! Makes me want to get out there and get my hands dirty! But working 9-10 hour days, mixed with a girlfriend, a '63 Dart wagon that is my daily with constant issues, and other duties doesn't leave much time or funds for my Fox, unfortunately! Lol!

Keep us updated! I'm watching!

Thanks for keeping up with it. It is always nice to know someone is reading it. I know the feeling. Life happens. Don't give up on the '85 and don't rush it. I did an '85 vert before this one and did the v6/aod to V8/T5 conversion. I wish I had taken more time on it. It turned out looking nice and running good, but I took a lot of short cuts, because I didn't want to wait until I could afford the really nice parts. On this one, I have been acquiring parts now for over two years. If you are patient, the right parts will come along and you can wait for the time to right as well. I love the 85/86s. Even with a parts car, I have had to buy a lot of parts, and have learned a lot on this project. I will have a huge pile of coupe specific parts left over once I finish this project. That may end up being my next project. I would love to do an 85/86 Ttop car.

Added a power quarter window regulator to the pile of parts this week...its on its way. I also committed to buying a pair of doors from a 90LX that have all the power options. I pick them up in person on Saturday, as they are a Craig's list find. I updated the blog, but will do it again as soon as I have my hands on the doors. I'm excited about the doors. The regulator was a nice find, but I go the doors complete for $30 each. I do have to drive 3 hours to get them, but dang.

You know, its hard to stay excited about a project that you don't get to see for a year at a time. The parts pile has become quite large, and the list of parts I don't already have that I want has become short. I'll try to get some time to update thread. The blog is gone. I was able to recover most of the technical stuff I wrote, but...Happy New Year everyone
