The FRPP manifold is an upgrade over the stock intake; also, a lot of people are running low boost on stock manifolds. There are custom aftermarket intakes, and others being made about to be available. For the boost levels I'll be running, the FRPP is quite sufficient (and is good for at least 30 psi according to Ford), at least until I see what kind of deal I can find or make on something bigger.
I don't see the intake being a restriction at this time.

Been awhile since I updated this thread. The car is complete, mostly, except for the exhaust system. It has been started a couple of times, and will tuning will soon commence.

Time for some pics!

Engine bay:

Some pics of underneath:
(many of these were taken when there was a lot of moisture in the air, and there is some condensation on some things, making them dull and funky-looking, especially on what are normally shiny pipe surfaces.)

Passenger-side exhaust pipe, before installing it. had to make/redo the piping feeding into it, and added a hanger support farther back:

piping installed underneath (the cat is still shiny, just looks like it isnt!); pipes hanging with donut hangers, giving extra support and rigidity:

i/c and initial piping:

turbos underneath:

some of the cold air piping:

It looks "challenging", and it was; but, everything clears moving parts and should work well, as long as I avoid speed bumps!
