Have to admit, I want to slap the CAI and pulley on now...
But I will leave it alone until next year.
Then I'll do the CAI/Tune.

I keep looking at Justins kits.
And he says I probably won't see 400 with his 500 hp kit.
So I think I'd still be clear of the danger zone.

But the whine....

Question, do you think I can bump to 3.73s with some UCA and LCAs and be ok?

I am certain that 350hp blown is much different than 350 NA, so I worry about wasting traction.
Granted the auto is a bit more forgiving in that regard.

Gotta love the whine...

Ok in what regard? 3.73 is a nice gear. I've had 3.31, 3.73, 3.55, and now 4.10s. Check out Hotpart for control arms...good stuff at a nice price.

Positive displacement blowers make for a nice fat torque curve that you just cant match running NA.

Well I like it now, but figure a little more wouldn't hurt.
As I don't plan to get too crazy with power, I figure some accel wouldn't hurt.

I figure 4.10s would be a bit much, and 3.55s would be a waste of money.

Exactly...3.55 isn't enough difference to be worth it, and if it wasn't for my .63 5th gear, I might find the 4.10s a little buzzy. 3.73s are nice. A couple of companies also make a 3.90 ratio for the 8.8.

I ran 373's with my vortech, KB, and now with turbos and automatics. In my turbo v6 w/6-speed, I have 410's, and that's just a useless 1st gear.

373's are about right for a lot of the variations I've tried. 410's would be ok with the vortech, too; most of the power/torque comes in at higher rpms.
But with stock 331's, nah, feels way too slow!

373's would be a great change for your setup!

Well I thought about it.
And even if i were NA running spray, 4.10s seemed a bit much.
Based on the 5r gearing, 3.73s seemed a perfect idea for any build.

I think I'm going to order them payday.
