Had some questions about "all-in" price. Here's the price breakdown of the setup on the dyno'd Mustang shown in the thread:

Our Pricing - will all the pieces:

$229 Injectors (buyfordracing.com)

Actual Cost:
$3107 (with Salvage Blower)
$3861 (with Rebuild & Warranty)

I certainly like the fact that it might encourage some more people in the 4.0 community to supercharge their cars.

Ive seen super coupe swaps on new edge v6s and always thought they were cool. Do you have dynos with a car running full exhaust, headers etc. Thanks for sharing this with us.

@afixer

You know the old saying... "if it aint broke, don't fix it". So we wanted to keep the intake as stock as possible. We released a kit with an aftermarket CAI and people kept fabricating their own intakes to utilize the stock airbox. So why change it? These days CAIs & intakes are a dime a dozen... and they all look cheap.

Regarding the stainless steel flex line... it also serves as an egr cooler. As an emissions regulation in some states/provinces, the EGR requirement on many vehicle models force us to "dump our engine's puke back in its mouth". We figured if we can't delete it... we should at least cool it. IMO... I thought it looked nice and stock. And I'm pretty sure a 2" air gap between the EGR line isn't gonna heat up your supercharger.... better than dumping it all into your intake.

...and your comment about "if you can not afford to fix a blown motor don't turbo or supercharge it". We backed off the hp to make sure it doesn't blow. We've also made more hp than the Xcharger kit with our add-on products and have never encountered a problem. But we want to achieve one thing with "the packaged up kit"... provide sixers with a robust and more cost effective option that provides all the fun of a supercharger... and make it faster than GT.

Thanks for the comment! The dynoed Mustang had a magniflow exhaust kit from the stock cat. Other than that, it was bones stock.

With a ported blower, engine pulley swap, smaller supercharger pulley, intercooler, methanol injection, and CAI... we made some pretty impressive numbers. We won't release any dyno sheets publicly until we have our add-on products ready for production. And we should probably do up some headers too and see what the M90 is capable of :)

Hey Toppless

Thanks for your interest in Moddbox!

Currently we have the Intercooler headers CNC machined and instock, coolant pumps instock, front radiators instock, and we are just waiting on our intercooler cores. Once they are instock we can start welding them to the headers and put-em up for sale.

Our target pricing is somewhere between $499-699 for the intercooler kit. We are really pushing to get it out now because we have a big demand for them especially with our new 2.64" pulley (our shown dyno was with a 2.8" pulley which was bones stock other than a cat-back exhaust).

Let me know if you got any more questions.
