Plasti-dipped the F150's Wheels - 08-14-2011

Well, I took the time yesterday and Plasti-dipped my 2004 F150's wheels. Took awhile (about 4-5 hours beginning to end) but I think they turned out well. I got some paint sample cards from Home Depot while I was there buying the plasti-dip, so they were actually cheaper than a deck of cards. haha!!

What do you guys think, leave it without the center caps altogether, put the center caps in and leave them silver, or paint the center caps black???

Before:

Up in the air:

Painting the wheels:

After with unpainted center caps:

After without any center caps:

And what my truck would look like with a lift... hahaha

I say with center caps definitely. Not sure about black or regular though. Could always peel off the plasti dip off the center caps if you don't like it

I like the center caps on, but left bright. Nice contrast with all the black.
