Mustang Memories 2011 - some pictures - 08-08-2011

I know that some other members have some pictures as well so thought I'd start a thread with some of the shots I took.

This was just the first two lanes, early in the morning - it filled up by noon.

Removed the 4.0L and put in a 5.4L with custom intake

And a lucky 24 year old got MY pair of Boss Mustangs this year

Roush display (some anyway)

Ford Racing was there with some examples of Boss race cars, you can even see some of the "fender kissing" evidence from the track

More of the Ford Racing display, I really like this first Boss, it reminds me of a Mach 1 that a girl drove in high school; kind of a butterscotch color

Now with twin turbo 3.5LV6.
Screw you photobucket! I'm not going to pay you to now use my own pictures

And Mustang Memories is more than Mustangs, with some really nice examples of Ford vehicles on display.

I drove one like this in high school when Dad wasn't using the convertible

This one caught my eye for some reason

More non-Mustang

This one belongs to the President of Team Detroit Racing

and some more Mustangs

Retractable hard top

A little too much bling on his car for my taste, but he and his wife love it

I thought you might like this one Bill

MRT had a little wagon with hood struts for 1979 to 2012 and was installing on the spot - took them about 10 minutes a car

Shelby had a GT350 convertible at Ford Racing

I thought that the stripe on this GT/CS was really nice

There were several examples of really nice Mustang II's - this one the guy has owned since it was new and his wife told him he couldn't sell it so he keeps working on it.

A rat rod type II

He made the hood scoop functional on this one

And the national Boss reunion was part of Mustang Memories this year

And how is this - the original Boss 302 prototype

Lots of Boss 302 and several Boss 429's. I didn't see any Boss 351's, but they may have come in later.
