Well... my most recent encounter was last Saturday evening coming home from a local car show... This beautiful old Camaro (see picture! The orange one) comes up from behind me... pulls along side and it's become obvious he want to go... I'm like no way... His car sounds awesome... got the big intake sticking up through the hood... But he's persistent... and I give in... we both go... and much to my surprise we are like dead even... i'm not sure who was pulling on who... are run only got up to about 60 when he had to shut it down for a car in his lane... I slowed down to let him catch up... he pulls along side of me and give me a BIG THUMBS UP and great big GRIN! I give him one right back! Man, was I shocked! LOL! I smiled the rest of the way home... LOL!

Oh.. and of course the favorite comment from the car show.... "I've heard stories about this car.... It's a V6 and it goes like Hell!" LOL!

Great buncha stories!

Just tonight, I was getting gas.. .not too much... trying to go to the track tomorrow...

There was some monstrous suv next to me with tinted windows. From the back seat, I hear a little kid yell out... "Nice 'stang!"

I just smiled and waved in the general direction of the back seat and said, "thanks."

Some guy driving a big Farm Tractor/mower thing gave me a big thumbs up today when I was waiting to make a right turn out of my development.

i have never had another mustang driver acknowledge me on the road but i do get some looks from others. i have had our security guard in our parking lot doing a bow down to me..i laughed and asked.."what's wrong?" His reply..."it's a mustang and it's a classic."

i used to have a modded 98 sixer and i had a guy in a very nice 04 corvette give me a thumbs up and wave so i returned the favor...its always good to see a thumbs up from a high priced car....and with this car i always get people starin at it but no waves...i had some kids in a soccer mom van next to me roll down the windows next to me and yelled at me last night but i couldnt understand cuz i just got my windows tinted and cant roll them down so i just revved a few times and gunned it for them
