Wheel Bands on hot Mustangs (Discounts too!) - 06-23-2012

Fell off the forum wagon. Catching back up here...

Lead car for Kicker Audio on the recently completed Hot Rod Power tour was one of those off makes. It's 3M Original Wraps package sure looked hot though with a set of yellow Wheel Bands on it. Throughout the tour one of the companion Kicker cars was a mighty awesome looking 5.0 that looked even a tad better with a set of red Wheel Bands on it:

This Mustang went on a week later to the Mid America Shelby Mustang event in Tulsa last weekend. Rave reviews again. (Thank you Kicker guys!)

Meanwhile, Tom Wood Ford in Indianapolis thought their 5.0 looked so good with a set of Wheel Bands that it deserved to be put on display in the showroom.

Tom Wood Ford is also taking care of those who think a black F-150 Harley Edition is not complete without some Harley orange detailing.

Wheel Bands do fit on most OEM Mustang wheels going back to 2009/2010. Before that good fits are a bit more spotty. 2005 definitely good on some models. Check it out if you're not one who sees red when they see pink on a 'Stang.

We've also got a special Wheel Bands discount running for forum members. Buy a Wheel Bands kit for $99. Post a review (good, bad or indifferent) in the Collective within 30 days. Get up to a 100% refund. Details here...

Kits are $99 (with free shipping). They come with the track and insert color of your choice. Enough material to do up to four 22" wheels. DIY installation time on most vehicles is under an hour. If you're visiting the Metro Detroit area we can fix you up with a local professional installer. (Those in the LA area see Galpin Auto Sports for a professional installation. Others coming soon.)

Post a photo of your ride with a Wheel Bands product review in the forum and get a full or partial refund on your order. See here.

I visit the Metro Detroit area regularly -- I live in Port Huron and work in Grosse Pointe so there every day!

Installation though didn't look to be complicated. I just ordered the sample from your website so I can get an idea how it will look on the new car (which will hopefully be at the dealer on Monday)

You are correct. Wheel Bands installation is on par with hanging four pictures nice and level with 3M Command tape. The professional installations are for those who only like to drive their cars not touch them.

Don't have that exact match in a Mustang. Here's dark blue on an MRT Fusion...

Latest Mustang photo gallery is here: Here's a tickler...

BTW: We'll have a tent at the MOCSEM Mustang Memories at Ford HQ again this year. Sunday, August 11. Tune up your ride with a show discount.
