Wow, went to the track today for the very first time. Best I could do was a 14.637et @ 95mph.
My 60ft was in the 2.44 range. The air temp was 95 degrees, so that didn't help. I bogged 1st gear 2 times.
I'll tell you what, I had traction control on, and that diminished some HP for sure. I take back all the talk about running 13's and 12's. I just can't imagine how short the track is. For Bill Putnum to run a 9et @ 144mph is amazing. I had so much fun learning how to stage. I'll get better. It's not the cars fault.
I weighed it with almost a full tank, and it said 3800lbs. Thats with my heavy tool box in the trunk. Along with the spare tire.

One thing for sure that 95 degree air temp didn't help the HP at all. I have so much respect for guys running anything under 14 seconds. Good job .

So how many 12 second 4.0's are out there? Or 13?
Hey you 4.0's that are running some good numbers should be proud. I didn't know till yesterday what it takes to make a good time. The 4.0 motor should be brought back
It already has forged rods.
I'm a new man seeing things more clearly.
I might have 500rwhp, but its not helping me in the first 1/4 mile. That 95f ambient air temp really made a big impression. Turbos with air to air intercoolers are at the mercy of ambient air temps. That's the only weak spot of turbos. Turbos do better early in the morning, or after dark. Around 48f to 75f is ideal for turbos.

12.46 at 110.66 mph before I did the cams and new valves and updated tune. will have it back together in a few days and hopefully off for a new dyno tune sometime soon. looking for mid 11's at about 115mph or better.

custom 2" stainless headers & duals with gt takeoff muffs,lakewood upper & umi lower control arms and panhard bar,shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, vortech v3 blower with air to air intercooler running 16psi, COOLINGMIST METH INJECTION KIT. ported n polished heads with custom manley stainless steel valves. manley rods and pistons. new motor combo is not yet dyno tuned. new best time is 12.46 at 110.66mph but the limiter was set for 110 mph lol.

Good job RampantRacing. A 12.46 is fast and deep.
I may need to update my rear end, I may have a 3.15, and not a 3.31. I think I'll go 3.55 if so.
