I installed a wideband and a another boost gauge on the A Pillar. the dealer wanted $570 to do it I did it myself in about 3 hours.

So you have not driven your car for awhile I take it?

Ecoboost Owners - 08-06-2017

In regards to a Vaccum Boost gauge, ATPTurbo.com has a fitting for $39.95 from a Ford Focus ST 2.3Liter that also works on the Ecoboost Mustang to pull vaccum and boost, located on the driver side of the engine. You have to remove the engine cover to install it.

These are the guys that helped me build the Twiscroll TO4z Turbo 4.0 I used to have.

In the picture you can see the CNC machined aluminum block, which adds a port for the vaccum boost gauge.

Fuse box- Ignition power - 08-08-2017

In regards to ignition power, next to the fuse box you will see a purple wire on a connector. Splice into it, and your good to go. Cut the Big purple wire, not the small one.

The next mod will be GT350 trunk spoiler.

310hp-15%=46.50 drive train loss=263rwhp + 20psi=463rwhp at night with intake air temps around 48 degrees F= 500+rwhp. Now primarily 20psi=400rwhp so it should be 663rwhp, but I'm not willing to claim that without a dyno graph. This mofo could be close to something unheard of! It pulls hard and squats all the way to 6500rpm! My car could be a factory freak. I don't know!

That's an incredible amount of power for $26,000 dollars!

All these Dodge Chargers, and Challengers, Chevy Camaro's might bully a normally aspirated GT 5.0 Mustang, but they run and hide from an Ecoboost Mustang! I promise you!

Don't forget 1psi of boost is worth 20rwhp. So the 2016 Ecoboost is producing this bone stock. The 2015 Ecoboost is a different story.

The Ecoboost is 9.5:1 compression ratio while GT is 11.0:1. This is why GT's require less boost. Normally around 12psi to make roughly 650rwhp.

At 25psi the Ecoboost will make 600rwhp. @ 30psi the Ecoboost will make 700rwhp, thus the reason Ford installed a 30psi Boost/Vaccum gauge. Now again, primarily 30psi is worth 600rwhp by itself. Add 263rwhp to that and we're talking 863rwhp. But who would believe it without a dyno sheet? See how ridiculous this could get? I'm thinking about a run to 160mph and take a picture! I'm thinking about it, just to prove a few things! I doubt I'll do it, but I'm thinking about it, know what I mean? Just put it in 6th gear and peg 20psi all the way to 160mph! I've been to 145mph already, 160mph is only 10 to 15 seconds away! Or less! I could do it guys! I'm thinking about it! Just thinking! I would make the run at night, to take advantage of the cold air. At 100mph the front mount intercooler could get intake air temps close to 45 to 40 degrees F. This would increase boost efficiency, the faster the car goes, the colder the air gets,the more HP each psi of boost makes. Meaning 1osi of boost could increase from 20rwhp to 1psi increasing its efficiency to 25rwhp per psi of boost, understand? It'd technical things like this that makes turbo's and Centrifugal superchargers the way to go. Vortechs and Pro Chargers take advantage of air to air intetcooling as well!

Remember Bill Putnum took his Ecoboost to 144mph at 9.49et in the quarter with just a few upgrades. Not sure what upgrades, but he had to be running a lot of boost and a bigger turbo. Just go to YouTube and type in Bill Putnum Ecoboost. It will pop up the video.

Ford, a run to 160mph would help you sale millions more Ecoboost. Let me think about it!

For those that don't know, my Grandfather worked at Ford and retired from Ford. So Ford is like family to me. For my 16th birthday, my mom bought me a 1984 GT350 Anniversary edition. White with burgandy pinstriped with a Hi-Po 302 or 5.0. I was big man in campus! LOL!
For graduation my mom bought me a 1988 Black Saleen Mustang, right off the showroom floor. Then in 1993 I bought a 93 Cobra. In 95 I bought a 95 GT Mustang, the last year of the 5.0, when Ford changed over to the 4.6L modular motor. I also owned a fully restored 1964 Mustang 289 hi-po 4spd with Draglites, skinnys in the front! Sold it for $20,000 dollars!
I installed aluminum ported and polished 302 heads on it with gear-drive timing,bandit whistled like a mother f@#$er! I raced 5.0 foxbodies and never lost. Late night races, like Fast and Furious!
Let's not forget my beloved S197 2005 4.0 V6, that Vortech gave me a free V2 Centrifugal Supercharger polished, a $4500 forest kit for free, for letting them design the kit for 2 months!
Then I designed a Twinscroll Garrett's To4z turbo kit and made 400rwhp with just 10psi of boost! It put down 182rwhp normally aspirated, 10psi is 200rwhp, add that to 182 and you get 382rwhp. I had a 4in intercooler that allowed me to get to 400+rwhp! Sold that for $18,000. Bucks!
So I'm true Blue Baby! Feel me? This lead to Ford designing the Ecoboost Mustang using my Twin scroll design. They saw my pictures on ModulaFords.com!

Hey Rygen, can you add mp4 videos to the Manage Attachments, so I can video the run to 160mph instead of taking a picture? My phone makes videos on the mp4 format! Thanks!

450hp-15%=67.50 drivetrain loss= 382.50rwhp+8psi= 160rwhp+382.50rwhp=542rwhp,@8psi and @ 10psi or 200rwhp + 382.50= 582.50rwhp @ 12psi or 240rwhp + 382rwhp= 623rwhp
@ 14psi or 280rwhp+382rwhp=662rwhp.

So it looks like you guys need at least 12-14psi to run 9's in the quarter.

what motor needs 12-14psi to run 9's?


2008 pony, candy red,8.8 with 4.10's/tloc,,sctx3 tuner,MT28X11.5X15 STREET ET SLICKS
custom 2" stainless headers & duals with gt takeoff muffs,lakewood upper & umi lower control arms and panhard bar,shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, vortech v3 blower with air to air intercooler running 16psi, COOLINGMIST METH INJECTION KIT. ported n polished heads with custom manley stainless steel valves. manley rods and pistons. new motor combo is not yet dyno tuned. new best time is 12.46 at 110.66mph but the limiter was set for 110 mph lol.
